Main purpose of the role: The candidate must have strong expertise in prime brokerage and equity/commodity derivative documentation, ideally with hedge fund experience, to join our legal team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our trading and client-facing businesses across APAC.

Duties & Responsibilities: You are a qualified lawyer with leveraged finance experience from a leading private practice or within a financial institution. You have knowledge and experience of banking and corporate law.

You have a comprehensive understanding of syndicated leverage finance documentation. You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.

You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment. You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.

You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads. You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.

Person specification: Qualified lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Minimum 5–8 years PQE, with proven experience in leveraged and event financing, ideally within a financial institution or top-tier law firm.

Strong understanding of syndicated lending, private credit, and structured finance. Ability to work autonomously and manage complex transactions end-to-end.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Chinese language skills are strongly preferred.
